Finca in San Lorenzo, Ibiza

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of San Lorenzo, this project was the full renovation and interior design of a historic Ibizan finca. Our vision was to create a powerful dialogue between its rustic soul and a bold, contemporary spirit, transforming the home into a sanctuary of artful contrast and creative expression.

Central to our approach was the preservation of the finca’s authentic character. We painstakingly restored the iconic, fragrant Sabina wood ceilings, allowing their gnarled beauty to form a warm, organic canopy throughout the space. Original stone walls were left exposed, their rugged texture telling the story of the building’s past and grounding the design in natural, earthy elements that connect the home to the surrounding campo.

Against this historic canvas, we introduced clean, modern interventions to create a dynamic tension. Sleek polished concrete floors flow through the living areas, their minimalist finish contrasting sharply with the rustic wood above. This juxtaposition of old and new creates the perfect gallery-like setting for a curated collection of art, where each piece enters into a conversation with the ancient architecture. The result is a home with profound character, a space where history is not just preserved but animated by a daring and sophisticated modern lens.
